Apologies to everyone looking for new items, we have found updating the web site in its

present format very time consuming and in an effort to speed things up have set about

Apparently Saturday 1 October is 20th anniversary of International Day for Older Persons

and the theme is "getting and staying active in later life"  Don't get me started..........

This one almost passed through my email inbox unnoticed.  The campaign in some quarters

(including here at Channel Lincolnshire) against the continuing growth of supermarkets was

given a welcome boost earlier this year when east Lindsey District Council refused planning

for a supermarket in Louth.  Now they are planning some research on the issue, read more.
